If your account is eligible for deletion, you can mark this by visiting the drop-down menu and the "Account Deletion" section.
Your professional account cannot be deleted if it has any of the following on record:
Booking history (even canceled or declined bookings)
Referrals issued or received
Any payment or 1099 history
Active disputes or open reviews
Received CE certificates
Completed or started a background check
These records exist to protect both you and the offices you have worked with (for tax reporting, dispute resolution, and payment history), so they cannot be removed. However, we can assist you in setting it to private so you are no longer available and visible to offices.
Before deleting, consider putting your profile in private instead (see Taking a break). Placing in private keeps your ratings and work history available in case your plans change.
You can set your profile to private under “My Public Profile” so you do not show as available when offices search for professionals in your area. Keeping your profile up but private will also allow you to remain eligible for our free CE's and allow you to easily find work if you were to ever need our services again. It's always good to keep the profile active by logging in often to keep that profile score high.
To make your profile private, navigate to My Public Profile and choose from multiple visibility options:
Visible to Everyone: Your profile becomes publicly viewable by all offices on and off Cloud Dentistry.
Visible to Cloud Dentistry Users: Limits visibility to offices on the platform.
Visible to my Employe(s) - Used with DSO's
Only Cloud Dentistry Users - your profile is not public of of Cloud Dentistry
Professionals should also note that they will no longer see jobs in their area while set to private.
Can I make my profile private to prevent contact from offices?
While Cloud Dentistry does not offer a complete "private" mode, setting your profile to Only Me (PRIVATE) minimizes visibility from offices .
Please note that even if your profile is set to private, you can still gain/lose profile score points for daily logins. This is calculated over the last 10 days, and can easily be restored upon your return to the platform.
Managing Notifications in Relation to Privacy
You can also turn off your notifications within the notification settings. If you wish to stop receiving notifications while your profile is private please see How do I manage notifications and emails? (Professionals)
