What do the different colors on my bookings calendar mean?

How do I know if I am confirmed for a temp job?

Written by Cloud Dentistry

Green = Confirmed

A green booking on your calendar indicates that this is a confirmed or in-progress booking.

Yellow = Pending Request (Awaiting Your Acceptance)

The office has requested you for a booking, and it is pending your acceptance or decline. Please give the office an answer as soon as possible. Response times for booking requests affect your profile score.

Light Blue = Open Temp Job Posting

This is a temp job posting that an office has posted, which allows dental professionals to apply directly to the job. Click on these on your calendar to review the details of the posting, and apply if interested.

*You can check (or uncheck) the option to 'show open temp jobs' on your bookings calendar.

*Applying to a temp job is not a guarantee of the job. It is only confirmed once the office accepts, and it turns green on your calendar.

Purple = Shift Application (Awaiting Office's Acceptance)

This indicates you have applied to an open temp job posting, and the application is pending acceptance or decline from the office.

*Applying to a temp job is not a guarantee of the job. It is only confirmed once the office accepts, and it turns green on your calendar.

If a confirmed booking is canceled, it will no longer appear on your bookings calendar. Pending requests that expire or are declined are also removed from the calendar. Likewise, open temp jobs that are closed will be taken off your calendar.

You can still access all of these booking details in the Closed section of the “Temp Jobs” tab, where you can use filters to find what you need.

Here are statuses that won't appear on your calendar, but will appear in your listed bookings in the "Temp Jobs" tab.

  • Pink = Expired or Declined: The booking did not receive a response, or you or the office declined.

  • Red = Canceled, Late Canceled, No-Show, or Turn Away

  • Alternate (auto-invite eligible): Means that this shift has been confirmed with a different professional. However, in the event this professional cancels, the shift is eligible to be resent to you if you are still available!
