Absolutely. If there's a dental office you've previously worked with via our platform and prefer not to engage with them again, or if you wish to keep your activity on the platform hidden from your current employer, you have the option to block those offices from viewing your profile.
There are 2 ways to prevent (block) an office from seeing your profile:
If you see the office in the list of “Offices near you” or have interacted with the office in the past, click on the office’s name to open the office’s profile. Click the “Block” button to block them. Click “Unblock” to reverse the block.
If you don’t see or cannot find the office profile, you can block the office by address by going to “Blocked Offices” on your dashboard and then clicking “Block an office by address”. For all of the addresses you enter, we will block all offices located within 1000 feet of that location. Whenever a new office registers, we’ll check to see if they should be blocked from your account. Once blocked, they will appear in the list of blocked offices. If we’ve incorrectly blocked an office, you can unblock just that office without removing the address block.
If you’ve completed a booking at an office and wish to block for future bookings, Navigate to the appointments tab in our platform - from there, you can control who can see your availability and professional details.
Once an office is blocked, your profile will not appear in their search results. If you have interacted with the office in the past via messaging or bookings, your name will still appear to them but they will not be able to contact you. They will see a message that your profile is no longer available and that they need to contact member services in order to relay a message to you.
