If you had a Dental Assistant profile with completed bookings on the platform as a DA, you cannot change your DA profile and will need to create a new profile as a Dental Hygienist. See the details below for how to set up a new account.
If you did NOT complete any bookings under your DA profile, the Professional Engagement team can change your status to reflect now being an RDH, but you will need to add your new license number in order to be approved again. To request this, start a chat in the right corner and select to connect with Professional Engagement.
To create a new RDH profile:
Use this link: Cloud Dentistry Sign Up.
Select "Dental Hygienist" as your role.
Note: if you create a new account, you cannot use the same email address. If you want to use the same email address, please contact Member Services via the chat to release your old address from your existing account. Once that’s done, you can create a new account with your current email address.
