What should I do if an office wants to change my confirmed hours?

Office wants to change booked hours

Written by Cloud Dentistry

Changes to Booking Hours

More than 24 hours in advance: The office must cancel the existing booking and submit a new booking request. Cancellations made this way do not affect the professional's Profile Score.

Within 24 hours of the appointment: Changes you do not agree to may result in a cancellation fee charged to the office and paid to you via Cloud Direct Pay (CDP) if the original booking is canceled and new booking proposed is rejected. To check your eligibility, see What should I do if my booking is canceled at the last minute? or contact Member Services via chat or at service@clouddentistry.com.

Hour changes with no new booking proposal or cancellation

For CDP bookings:

  • Additional hours worked: Adjust your timesheet to reflect actual hours and include a brief explanation of the discrepancy.

  • Significantly fewer hours (1+ hour less): You may be eligible for guaranteed pay — see What is Guarantee Pay?

For direct office payment bookings (Same Day, up to 7 days, or up to 14 days):

  • Additional hours worked: No action needed.

  • Significantly fewer hours (1+ hour less): You may be eligible for guaranteed pay — see What is Guarantee Pay?

Please note that timesheets are only required for Cloud Direct Pay (CDP) assignments and must be filled out in full to ensure correct payment.

Note: Guarantee Pay eligibility excludes Turnaway, Late Cancellation, and any other compensation for the same booking.
