To create a booking you can do this by going to your dashboard and clicking on the date on the calendar that you need a temp or going to the "Find Professionals" tab. Once you are in the "Find Professionals" tab you can then enter the exact filters you are looking for (what type of professional, start time, and end time). After you set your filters it will show you all the professionals available for that day and time.
When you find a professional you are interested in sending a request to, you will click on the day you would like to request them on their calendar next to their profile. If they are available the times will be in blue. You will then be prompted to enter the start time and end time, if they get a lunch break, and you can add any additional notes about the day. You will then check the 2 check boxes stating that if the professional does not respond in 4 hours it will automatically create a job post (which is how you have been creating jobs) and you agree to the terms.
At the bottom, it will give you the option to add more professionals or send 1 request. If you had multiple professionals you liked that you would be interested in sending the job to, you can select the add more professionals button. This option will notify and request up to 6 professionals however, when one accepts it automatically deletes the job post to the others. This is similar to a first come first serve scenario and can prevent double booking. If you would like to only send a request to one specific professional you can select the send 1 request button.
When you have successfully sent a request it will appear as a yellow box on your calendar, and when a professional accepts it will then turn green. This shows on your calendar so you can keep track of which professional is arriving that day and you can reference it for details on their hourly rate and any other information about the booking. You can also view the status and track bookings by going to the ‘Bookings’ tab.
