At the end of your term’s plan, your plan will automatically renew for a month-to-month plan at the same price. This locks in a confirmed monthly subscription without the risk of a price increase if offices cancel their plan and choose to return.
At any time prior to the end of your current plan’s term, office accounts may cancel their autorenewal and will only be billed for the remaining months of their current plan.
Example: A 6-month plan for January through June. Opting out of auto-renewal occurs in May, the plan will have one remaining payment for June and access will end after the final paid month.
Multi-month plans have an early termination fee that is calculated based on the specific terms of your account and subscription plan. The fee is presented at the time of cancellation to ensure accuracy and transparency.
The early termination fee is calculated using the following steps:
Determine the monthly plan rate.
Calculate the two-month fee by multiplying the monthly rate by 2.
Compute the proration factor by dividing the remaining days in the term by the total days in the term.
Calculate the final fee by multiplying the two-month fee by the proration factor.
Example: If an office has a 12-month plan from January - December, but cancels on March 15, they will pay the prorated early termination fee and will lose access immediately. The early termination fee is equal to 2 month's payments, prorated to the length of time remaining on the committed term, depending on how many months are left in the remaining term.
Example with numeric calculation: If the monthly plan rate is $97.00 and there are 281 days remaining out of a 360-day plan, the proration factor is 281 ÷ 360 = 0.7806. The early termination fee is calculated as $97.00 × 2 × 0.7806 = $151.43. Additionally, early termination fees apply to both 6-month and 12-month plans, and the fee decreases as the term approaches its end. Fees may also vary between accounts under the same company if subscription terms differ. Plans are billed monthly, not prepaid, so there is no refund for unused months. Once the early termination fee is paid, no further charges are applied. The exact fee is calculated at the time of cancellation and depends on your plan and the remaining term.
