For dental professionals
If you can't attend a confirmed booking, cancel through the Cloud Dentistry platform as soon as you know — ideally more than 24 hours out. Cancelling on the platform (versus simply not showing up) is what determines whether the assignment is recorded as a late cancel or as a no-show.
How to cancel
Open Temp Jobs or your Bookings Calendar.
Click the assignment date, then the red Cancel button on the booking.
Provide a reason for the cancellation. Offices can leave a review based on it, so be specific.
Failure to cancel through your bookings calendar may cause the booking to be marked as a no-show.
Cancellations 1 hour or less from the start time are automatically recorded as a no-show.
If the booking has passed the start time and the assignment is showing as "in progress", you can no longer cancel on your own. In such cases, you’ll need to contact a Member Services representative.
How cancellations affect your Profile Score
Without an approved excused status, cancellations and no-shows reduce your Profile Score:
Cancel more than 24 hours out: No impact
Cancel within 24 hours of start: −50 points
No-show: −100 points
Complete a booking: +10 points
When you accept a booking, the office stops recruiting and turns away other applicants. Late cancellations — and especially no-shows — cost them money and time, which is why the score impact is steep.
Documentation that can excuse a late cancellation or no-show and Suspensions for unexcused cancellations and no-shows
For cancelations less than 24 hours out, No shows or Suspensions, you can submit any supporting, dated and timestamped documentation of an emergency to excuse the absence. Documentation needs to be uploaded through your account dashboard for further review so our team can review it alongside your account history.
How to Submit excuse document:
Please log in to your account dashboard and click "Send Documentation."
These will be reviewed shortly, and updates provided via the messaging system. If approved, your Profile Score points are restored overnight, and account suspensions may be lifted.
This is the only method we use to review and approve excused absences.
