How does my profile get approved?

What's required for account approval?

Once you create your free Cloud Dentistry account, our Professional Engagement team will review the information you provide to confirm accuracy and ensure no duplicate profiles exist. Here's everything you need to know to get approved and start connecting with dental practices.


Step 1: Log Into Your Account

Log into your Cloud Dentistry account to access your dashboard.

Step 2: Follow the Step-by-Step Registration Instructions

The steps and requirements vary by professional type. See the required items for your specialty below:

Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH)

  • Verified phone number

  • Verified email address

  • License number(s) and state(s)

  • Education and graduation year

  • Photo ID

  • Background check with CLEAR status

  • Profile photo

Dental Assistants (DA)

  • Verified phone number

  • Verified email address

  • Profile photo

  • Photo ID

  • Minimum of three (3) skills

  • Background check with CLEAR status

Front Office

  • Verified phone number

  • Verified email address

  • Profile photo

  • Photo ID

  • Minimum of three (3) skills

  • Background check with CLEAR status

Dentists (DDS)

  • Verified phone number

  • Verified email address

  • License number and state

  • Education and graduation year

  • Malpractice insurance

  • Photo ID

  • Background check with CLEAR status

  • Profile photo

Specialists

  • Verified phone number

  • Verified email address

  • License number and state

  • Education and graduation year

If you see the "Activate Profile" checklist on your Dashboard, these items must be completed for your account to be flagged for review, reactivation, or account approval.

Step 3: Wait for Review and Approval

After completing your checklist and receiving a clear status on your background check, please allow 1–2 business days for our team to review and approve your profile. The background check process may take up to 3 business days to be processed and cleared.

Our goal is to have each qualified professional, who has accurately completed their profile, approved within the same day or early the next business day, as long as they meet the criteria!

After Approval: Make Your Profile Stand Out Once your profile is approved and activated, you will gain access to job postings and can start applying for positions.

It’s encouraged to add additional information to increase your chances of getting booked. Offices want to see a complete and compelling profile, just like your resume!

Key profile boosters include:

  • Background description - Tell offices about your experience and what makes you a great fit

  • Certifications - Upload any relevant credentials

  • Skills - Add your relevant skills & experience level

  • Introduction Video (+50 points)

  • Profile complete bonus (+100 temporary booster points) for 90 days from your sign-up date.

NOTE: You will experience a profile 100 point deduction after 90 days of your sign up as you will lose the profile complete bonus.

💡 Profile Completeness is a major factor in your Profile Score. A higher score means greater visibility to offices searching for professionals like you.
