For licensed professionals on the platform - hygienists, dentists, specialists, and certified/registered dental assistants - once your license has been reviewed and confirmed upon initial registration, the renewal date is added to your account.
Upon renewal date, our Professional Engagement team will verify the renewal of your license with the state dental board and confirm the updated renewal date. As long as your license has been renewed with the state dental board ahead of the expiration date, you shouldn't experience any delays in bookings within your account.
If your license has not been renewed as reported by the state dental board, our team will contact you for confirmation. This could occur when the license has been renewed at the state level, but the state's website has not been updated.
If a professional does not renew their license with the applicable state dental board within the required timeframe, they may be disapproved and deactivated from the platform and unable to complete bookings.
