How Cloud Direct Pay Works for Dental Professionals
Cloud Direct Pay (CDP) is how Cloud Dentistry pays you directly for assignments at participating offices. You'll know an office is enrolled by the CDP badge next to their name in your booking. This is also outlined in the booking details under the "Payment Terms."
Before you start: a one-time setup
To receive payments through CDP, two tabs in your account need to be filled out:
Tax settings — verify your tax information.
Direct deposit settings — enter your banking info and confirm the correct account is set as your default.
Payments are processed through Stripe.
Note for W2-only professionals
If you've selected W2 Only, CDP isn't available to you. The office will pay you directly, withhold taxes, and provide your tax documents.
How To Get Paid via Cloud Direct Pay
Confirm your booking and payment terms. Make sure the assignment is booked and confirmed through your calendar. The agreed payment terms (Cloud Direct Pay) are visible in the booking details.
Submit your timesheet. After your booking is confirmed, you'll get an email with instructions and a timesheet copy. Upload it to the corresponding booking, and double-check that the times on your timesheet match what you've entered in the system. For a full walkthrough, see how to submit your timesheet.
A few things to know:
Incomplete timesheets — missing assignment info, missing signatures — won't be processed. It's on you to correct and resend.
Timesheets uploaded more than 30 days since the booking date will be rejected and require verification from the dental office.
If a timesheet is rejected, you'll get an email explaining why, and this will be written in the corresponding booking.
3. Wait for processing. Allow 1–2 business days for our team to review. Timesheets flagged for review or submitted for "guarantee payment" requests are reviewed in the order they are received.
4. Receive your deposit. Once your timesheet is approved, the transfer to your bank can take another 2–5 business days, depending on your bank and the office's payment method. If you have instant payouts turned on, you'll see the deposit within minutes of approval.
5. Track it in your Earnings section. This is where you can see the status of your pending Cloud Direct Pay deposits, including their estimated deposit date.
