How Do I Manage My Schedule on Cloud Dentistry?

Keeping your schedule up to date is one of the most important things you can do on Cloud Dentistry. An accurate schedule ensures you receive booking requests when you're available, helps offices find you in search results, and protects your Profile Score.

How to Set or Update Your Schedule

You can manage your schedule in two ways:

  • Mobile app (recommended): Open or close days with just a couple of taps. Download the app for the easiest scheduling experience.

  • Web browser: Log into your dashboard and select the Edit Schedule option on your computer or mobile device.

To manage your availability, navigate to the right-side menu and select Schedule. From there, select the days of the week you're typically available and your preferred working hours.

Using Exceptions for More Flexibility

If your availability changes from week to week, the Exceptions tab in your Schedule is your best tool. Exceptions allow you to mark specific dates as available or unavailable without changing your regular schedule.

Any day with an exception rule is marked with an asterisk (*), and a full list of your exceptions will appear for easy review.

Example uses:

  • Going out of town for a few days? Add an exception to mark those days as unavailable.

  • Working full-time at an office but open to picking up shifts during their vacation closure? Add an exception to mark those days as available.

You can also open or close specific days directly from your bookings calendar by clicking on the date.

Keeping Your Schedule Up to Date

An orange background on your dashboard's "Is your schedule up to date?" reminder means your schedule is nearly or already outdated. This can lower your profile's visibility in search results, making it harder for offices to find and book you.

To stay on top of it:

  • Log in regularly to confirm your schedule is current

  • Daily logins can also help boost your overall Profile Score

What to Do When Your Availability Changes Unexpectedly

If an office sends you a booking request or message and your schedule has since changed, always respond to let them know you're unavailable — even if you can't accept.

⚠️ Not replying to messages or requests (ghosting) will lower your Profile Score. Declines can also be frustrating for offices. Read more about declining requests here.
