Can I use my current subscription plan for another location?

How to add another location to your office account on Cloud Dentistry — plus why each location needs its own subscription plan.

A quick guide for office admins on Cloud Dentistry.

Expanding to a second office? You can add a new location to your existing Cloud Dentistry account in just a few clicks — no new account required. This guide walks you through it.

Can I use my current subscription plan for another location?

No — each subscription plan only covers one location. Here's why:

  1. Cloud Dentistry isn't your typical staffing agency — we don't charge placement, agency, or buyout fees.

  2. Low monthly subscriptions are location-based — each plan is tailored to the local supply of dental professionals in that area.

  3. Dental professionals set their own travel radius — meaning they only appear as available to offices within their selected range.

  4. Adding a location to view dental professionals is free, but to book a professional or post a job for that location, you'll need to add a subscription for it first.

Add the new location

  1. From your dashboard drop-down menu, open the Practice Info tab.

  2. Click the blue Add Another Office button and fill in the new location's details (name, address, phone, etc.).

  3. Save the new office. It will now appear in your account's location switcher.

  4. Toggle to the new location and take a look at available professionals in the area in the "Find Professionals" tab.

  5. Select Your Plan to book, message, and post jobs for your additional location.

Important: Sending dental professionals to a location without an active subscription plan violates our user terms and may result in loss of account access.

After adding the location

  • Assign a payment method (optional): Go to Billing Info → Payment Methods, then click "Assign To" next to the card you want associated with the new location. All invoices for that office will be billed to the assigned method.

  • Set the Payment Terms for this location - this will show professionals how they will be paid for temporary assignments.

Removing a location

If you have sold one of your locations or offices, contact our Member Services team to deactivate the location and remove any active plans, if applicable.

Have multiple locations or a DSO?

If you operate ten or more offices, ask about our DSO program: a dedicated account manager, a single billing summary across all offices, unlimited admin logins, and an internal float pool that lets your team move between locations. Learn more about DSO accounts.
